For many years Palisade Greenhouse has used the Versa Plug product to meet our own demand for plants that could be brought to market during the short, summer months. Now, we bring this technology to you at an amazingly affordable price.

The Versa Plug is a 3801 flat of a single perennial or shrub variety. Each plug is about 2.3" round by 5.0" deep. Deep, vertical grooves in the wall of each plug encourages downward growth of the roots instead of spiraling. (See photos above.) The flats are fully vernalized and are ready for shipping in early spring. Delivered at that time, they will be just emerging from winter dormancy. Growers can transplant these plugs into #1 containers and expect a full and ready-to-sell product in 4 - 6 weeks (even faster during the main growing season).
